By accessing or using ClearTODO ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ClearTODO is a task management application that helps users organize and track their tasks. The Service is provided in two modes:

  • Local Mode: Tasks are stored locally in your browser. No account is required.
  • Cloud Mode: Tasks are synced to our servers when you create an account and sign in.

3. User Accounts

To use Cloud Mode, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service (such as tasks and lists). By using Cloud Mode, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service without permission

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss or service interruptions.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
